Hogan Whitmire, dds
Originally a Chattanooga native, Dr. Hogan Whitmire received his undergraduate degree from Samford University in Sports Medicine. He then completed his Masters degree in Biomedical and Health Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Whitmire then went on to acquire his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University Of Tennessee’s College Of Dentistry.
Following dental school, Dr. Whitmire completed a residency program for Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the highly regarded Foundry Dental Center in Birmingham, Alabama. During his residency, Dr. Whitmire received advanced training in comprehensive implant dentistry, bone grafting, oral surgery, complex full-mouth rehabilitation, and IV sedation. This unique training experience allows him to treat and be with patients throughout the entire surgical and restorative process.
Dr. Whitmire is also a faculty member at a local non-profit clinic, and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Tennessee Dental Association.
Dr. Whitmire is committed to providing the highest quality of care while developing trust and a lasting relationship with each patient. He is excited to serve the community of Chattanooga, his hometown. When not treating patients, Dr. Whitmire enjoys all things outdoors, including biking, golfing, and exercising.
Sam Coleman, DMD
Dr. Coleman was born and raised in Wetumpka, AL. He attended the University of Chicago where he played wide receiver on the football team and had a decorated career. Dr. Coleman continued his education as he moved back south to attend dental school at UAB, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine.
After dental school, he completed a residency at the Foundry Dental Implant Center in Birmingham, where he received extensive training in the surgical and restorative aspects of implants and implant prostheses. This is what Dr. Coleman believes allows him to give the best care to his patients, being trained from the surgical and restorative side. It is during residency that he met and trained with his colleague, Dr. Whitmire.
Dr. Coleman is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Tennessee Dental Association.
Dr. Coleman is passionate about dental implants and the positive impact they can have on your oral health as well as overall health. He also enjoys getting to know his patients and hearing their story, and is looking forward to serving the community of Chattanooga.
